How can this be

Hi everyone,
I have a quick question and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this before.
I've been on the same pill for 13 years and I've stopped twice for a month due to breakthrough bleeding. That also happened in January. After that, I had a pretty heavy period and no more breakthrough bleeding. Of course, I used other contraception during those times too.
Now I'm stopping the pill again this month after 3 weeks, everything is going according to plan and I got my period. But it only lasted 1.5 days. Normally it's at least 5 days! The cramps are still going on too, just like the headaches. Normally these only last for the first two days.
Has anyone experienced this before? I find it really short and I'm not used to this after 13 years.
I don't think it's a pregnancy. I did a test last week just to be sure ????

It could be that your body is a bit confused because you had stopped for a while due to your breakthrough bleeding. Just wait for your next period and see how it is.

Maybe your body has already gotten used to that pill, and it's time to try a different one.
