On February 14th, I had my IUD removed after a year and a half because I had gained 10kg while using it. I'm going back on the pill though, because my boyfriend and I are only planning to try for a baby this summer.
Still, I've been having some issues for the past 2 weeks:
- Super tired
- Stomach pain + cramps + gurgling intestines
- Nauseous at different times of the day, but not vomiting
- Very sore breasts for the past 2 days
- Heartburn, but not very severe
- Stabbing pain in my lower back
- Headache, a kind of pressure like a migraine
I got my period on February 16th, very heavy but very short. Normally it lasts 6 days for me, but this time it was only 3 or 4 days and then it was done.
Could it be that my body hasn't reacted well to switching from the IUD to the pill?
I know I should take a test, but I'm due for my period next week and want to wait until then. Still, I can't stop thinking about it now.

That's possible. The first month you start taking the pill, it's not fully effective yet, so you should still use protection.
