HELP QUESTION

I think it mainly depends on when your ovulation is. Did you forget to take the pills on the days before/during your ovulation? All the signs you mention could be the flu, pregnancy, or they're just standing out now because you're so focused on it

You can test if it's been a few days since you were supposed to get your period. I'd do that, and if not, see your GP.

Good luck and keep us posted?

    Thanks for your quick reply.
I forgot 1 pill during the fertile days, then took 1, then a week later forgot 1 again and took it the next day. And then in the last week I also forgot 2.
Then I sent an email to the contraceptive helpdesk with my question. They said you're safe if you've been taking the pill correctly for 7 days after (which isn't the case here) because after the last missed pill, as far as I can remember, I took the last pill of the pack. And then I started my break week. And then I didn't pick up a new pack because I didn't trust it.

Now I'm not really 'worried' about it, it just caught my attention. I do have cramps but my period is taking its time, I'm on day 31 now. I wanted to wait until day 34, and if it still hasn't come, I wanted to take a test or call the GP. I'll keep you posted..

P.S. I'm linking it all to the flu myself. But whether that's entirely logical or not...

Well, that flu link could also be pregnancy! ;-) I'm now pregnant with baby 3 (wasn't planned) and I spent two evenings with chills, fever... really like a flu with headache, neck and ear pain. But in the meantime, I still ate normally and did things around the house... so weird because with the flu I usually lie flat on my back....

When my period didn't come, I Googled "pregnant and flu" and read more about those symptoms... after two evenings, all of this was gone again... but I was pregnant! ;-) It was so strange :-P I had no idea this could be a symptom...

I've never had any issues with the morning-after pill myself.

Maybe your body is just a bit confused or something... there's nothing you can do but wait... and if needed, take another test in a few days!

    I'm curious to hear...

Wow, that sounds really exciting! From what you're saying, it seems like you might have forgotten to take your pill, so there's definitely a chance you could be pregnant. The story about the cramps and your period not coming is really familiar to me—I had the same thing happen. If you do a test, I'd recommend using a Clear Blue digital one. I got negative results with other tests, but with that one, it was positive! Good luck!

I just called the GP. They advised me to take a test because it's possible I'm pregnant. If the test is negative and my period hasn't arrived next week, I need to call again and they'll see what to do. So I'll go grab a new test later "without spending money" since I don't think I'm pregnant

Well, the possibility is there, so to rule it out, it's indeed better to do a test so you know for sure. Good luck!

How are things now? What did the test say?

    @Koekoek,

Do you know more yet, have you already tested??
    Really curious if you're pregnant..
Is the intention that you two were supposed to get pregnant or not really
but welcome I guess so and do you already have more kids or is this the first one

    Totally forgot, sorry sorry...
Wednesday and this morning I tested, both negative. So Monday I'll call the doctor to see what's up, still no sign of my period
