Hi ladies, I really need your help.
I'm 26 and about to graduate. I have a FANTASTIC boyfriend and we're more than happy together. A while ago we started talking about wanting kids. I'm a teacher, so I work with children. I've always known I wanted kids. For the past 3 months or so, I've REALLY wanted it. My boyfriend initially thought, "first your diploma, then start on kids." After lots of talking and because I want it so much, we decided to stop the pill and go for it. He was over the moon with the idea of becoming a dad. After I stopped the pill, I started doubting hard whether now is really the right time. I want it so much, but I'm also very scared of all the changes and the fact that I haven't graduated yet. I think I can handle it, but I'm also really scared. My boyfriend says it's okay, so if I don't want it right now, but I think he's disappointed deep down. (He's not really into talking about feelings). So I really don't know what to do anymore.

Sorry for the long post, but I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hope you can help me out.
xx Ashley

Follow your own feelings? If you're not ready for it, then you definitely shouldn't do it...
If you think you'd rather finish your studies first and look for a job, then do that!
If he's disappointed, it'll only be extra nice in the end if you both really go for it, together!

I recognize you! I've also wanted a baby for a long time, I'm 26 too and work with kids... I stopped the pill a month ago, and yesterday doubt suddenly hit me—it's really scary now... Is this the right time? Can I handle it?
I can't help you with your decision, but I know how you feel... xx

Doubt naturally just shows that you want the best for your (soon-to-be) baby. Isn't that incredibly beautiful?

By the way, I do have moments of doubt myself. It's not like I'm studying or anything, but I sometimes wonder how I'll manage to combine work and caring for my baby later on... whether I'll be a good mother... what would happen if, for example, I broke up with my partner... but well... If you think like that, you might never take that step? So I'm just going for it! My partner is fantastic, we're very happy right now, and we both really want this... No one can see the future, but ultimately, things will work out if you put in the effort!

I'm definitely going for it too, and yeah, maybe that doubt is actually good because you do want the best for your baby... and everything will turn out fine
