Boy's name

Hi everyone,
We're considering the boy's name Jones. I've mentioned it to two people in our circle, and they reacted quite negatively. Now I'm really doubting whether we should go with that name or maybe Fedde instead.
I'd love to hear what you all think of the name, and if you have any other suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them too.

    I think it's a beautiful, distinct, and unique name. I haven't heard it before. If you both like the name, just go for it. There will always be people who have an opinion and don't think it's beautiful. That's fine too, tastes differ, of course. We also have a name in mind for our daughter that many people have associations with. But in the end, what matters is that you like it. I need to let go of that a bit myself and not let my choice depend on others. Good luck with your choice.

    I do know a Sjon and a Djon (spelled as John) but I think this could work too! Better than some weird names

    I was mostly afraid it might sound a bit "aso." I love tough-sounding names, but definitely not "aso" ones.
    John, for example, is totally not my taste, whereas I do think Jack sounds really tough.

    Haha funny that you think Jack sounds nice then. I'd put Jones after it (Jack Jones).

    I don't think it's a beautiful name myself, but I also think that of Morris. But if you find it beautiful and think it fits well, then you should definitely do it.

    I actually think Jones is nice! People around you always have an opinion. Just do what feels right for you both.

    It's not my taste, but it's a great name. I really like Fedde! But you know, it's a matter of taste—some people like it, others don't.

    Jones is indeed a nice middle name. I also feel something with Fedde. If the couple agrees, that's all that matters. People will always have an opinion, but you're the ones carrying the name. Do what feels right for you and enjoy the pregnancy.
