Cycle is not regular

Hi everyone,
In November 2017 I took my last pill and had one last 'stop week'. After that, I had a cycle of 8 weeks with 3 days of brown discharge. Not really a period though. After this 'period', another cycle has now lasted 6 weeks... I took an ovulation test at 2 weeks and it was positive. But my period still hasn't come. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it too early to go to the gynecologist?
