Been working on it all day, any tips?

Hi,
I just got into the first round after having the IUD removed. I had to wait a long time until my partner was ready. Now that we're finally going for the 'egg', I'm really spending all day thinking about it. I just hope it works, but I'm also scared again that it might not work or never work. Does anyone have tips for me to not think about it so much and keep it fun?

    Hey Labba,

I totally relate... I had that too in the first month...
The only advice I can give... don't stay at home :-) That can already help with distraction.
But we've been at it for quite a while now... and it's totally normal to think about it, but the frequency decreases.
Now, for example, only around ovulation and then when needed.
I can let go of the times in between.

After my miscarriage, I was obsessed with getting pregnant again, and I got really frustrated and sad that it didn’t work right away. I consciously tried to put it out of my mind, and every time I thought about it, I quickly distracted myself with something else. And I didn’t buy baby clothes or anything like that in advance...
Now I’m still not pregnant, but I can look at it a bit more lightly again.

No, I don't buy baby clothes and stuff like that... I still have plenty of time for that.
I also had a miscarriage and found it really tough too.
But I'm getting better at putting things in perspective. There are just a few days in the cycle when I really struggle with it or feel grateful.
Keep looking on the positive side!!!

Yeah, especially that last week before the due date is hard to stay patient!
