Positive test?

Hi ladies,
Took a test this morning. I'm unsure if it's positive. I have an irregular cycle, so it's really hard to figure out when my ovulation was. Last period was on December 30th.
I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow. We wanted to do another test just to be sure, and I've been having some breast tenderness these past days.
What do you think? Optical illusion... or could it be?

    This test is really positive, I mean it. A line is a line. Just keep testing to see if it gets darker. Congratulations!

    Thank you ladies, I hope so. The tension is still there. I'll do another test tomorrow and then ask the hospital if they want to check too, if there's a line tomorrow.
    I've noticed that my cracked nipples are getting bigger and I have a lot of headaches. I thought it was because of the flu.

    Did an Etos test this morning (yesterday it was Kruidvat). There was nothing visible this morning... a negative test.
    I'll still report it to the doctor this afternoon, hopefully they can give a definite yes/no.

    It's possible you had an implantation, but something went wrong. You still had some hCG in your body for a bit. But yeah, a blood test would give a definite answer.

    Hi, I went to the hospital today. They did an internal exam and everything looks good. I showed the test to the doctor. At first he said it was nothing, then I made him look closely and he said it might very well be possible. But, a very small chance. I got medicine to induce bleeding. I'll start that tomorrow, but first I'm going to do one more test tomorrow morning. It could still be too small for the doctor to see. Tomorrow we'll know for sure. I bought an expensive digital test, hopefully it's worth it. I'll let you know tomorrow. It's sweet that you're all following along.

    Okay! Glad everything looks good! Expensive Clearblue test? Because I think they usually need a lot of hcg but I'm not sure about that. To make it tricky for you.. It's exciting though! Otherwise, you could probably wait one more day with the medication? It probably won't make a difference on that one day.
    Otherwise, collect your morning urine, then you can test with it later in the day with another test if you want (that's what I did this time, I was supposed to get the test by mail that day and didn't want to wait another day, just shook it and it worked, but it's also twins so double hcg.) I'm just throwing ideas out there! Lots of success anyway!

    I do see a very faint line too.. I'd test in the morning with a Kruidvat test.. it's very sensitive to hCG.

    Hi ladies,
    It's sweet that you're thinking along with me. I took the CB and Etos tests this morning. Both were negative...
    What do you think? Should I just assume it's nothing?

    I have no experience with the Etos test, but CB requires more HCG in the urine to show positive than the Kruidvat test. I’d take another Kruidvat test with first morning urine tomorrow. Because on the photo above there’s actually a faint line. These tests have never been false positives for me; they were truly stark white.
    And personally, I think it’s better to wait an extra week and be sure rather than taking those pills now when there’s a chance it’s actually a real pregnancy! That would be really sad.
    Good luck and don’t let anyone rush you. You can always take those pills later...

    We’re still going to get a test today, I think. I’m still unsure, but it’s probably better to do it. Then we’ll know for sure. Didn’t do a test this morning; we didn’t have any left.
    It’s so sweet of you all to think with me. The uncertainty is so annoying.

    Thank you, Jenny. Somewhere, the certainty is also a relief; not knowing is so exhausting...
    I'm going to start with the medication now. Hopefully, they'll do their job
