Any experience with implantation?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, so if I've posted this in the wrong place or asked a question that's already been answered somewhere... please let me know.

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced feeling implantation / spotting. I have a very regular cycle and according to my app, my ovulation should have been on January 24th. I think I felt it on the 23rd, but feeling it a day earlier wouldn't be strange, of course.
Then on January 29th, I suddenly had period-like cramps and lost a tiny bit of blood.

I've already tested impatiently (negative), but that's kind of pointless with an expected period on February 6th????

Looking forward to hearing your experiences and thoughts!

Hi BM, I actually have some experience with this. In November, unfortunately, it turned out to be an early miscarriage. I felt a sharp stab in my uterus around 9 dpo. The next day I had some bleeding. I thought my period had started, but it was very light and stopped again. Two days after feeling that stab, I saw a very faint line on a test. But my boyfriend didn’t see it. A few days later, he did. Unfortunately, that also ended in a miscarriage. But more than 4 weeks later (28 Dec), I got a positive ovulation test again. I think my ovulation was on 29 Dec. On 6 dpo, I felt another sharp stab in my uterus and a heavy feeling. That evening, I immediately told my boyfriend, “I think it’s implantation again.” And the next morning (7 dpo), I had some bleeding. On 9 dpo, a very faint test line. On 10 dpo—so 4 days before my expected period—a clearer line. But now the lines were getting darker, and I already had an ultrasound due to some one-time bleeding, and there was already a heartbeat. So my experience is that you can get a light positive test 2–3 days after implantation. I also tested with ovulation tests to see which one was more sensitive. Just for fun... I still had a lot lying around. I’ll post a photo below of 9 dpo. The ovulation test was definitely darker.

    Hi Clautjuh,
Thanks for your reply! So nice that you're pregnant too!
Unfortunately, I don't have any ovulation tests lying around haha. Are they more sensitive than those (2 for 5) from Kruidvat? If so, I'll go grab some tomorrow haha.
Of course, I should just wait 5 days, but it's so hard when you really suspect it..

Just a little more patience and you can test. I always ordered the Sensitest ones. But the ones from Kruidvat are said to be sensitive too. I mean the pregnancy test. You can also do those a few days before. Good luck!

If I order them, there’s probably a chance they’ll arrive in time for me to test normally haha. I’m going to pick up a few more Kruidvat tests. I can tell myself I’m going to wait, but I’ll probably test every morning from now on

Thanks! It’s only the first round, so if not, then not

Yeah, you just have to test if you have that urge. You can't hold it back anyway, haha

    Unfortunately, nothing to see yet

It's still early, though. Some tests only turn positive when it's time.

Yeah, that's true! With my first, I only thought I might be pregnant when I was already 3 days late, and then it was pretty clear, you know So this whole process is new to me, haha. By the way, even then the lines were quite faint, so I think my body doesn't produce hCG super fast..

    Hi ladies,
I have a question. My cycle last month was 32 days. I had a positive ovulation test on Jan 25/26, both days showed two very nice thick lines.
Now the app says my period is probably due on Feb 9. I've had some painful twinges since last week, and occasionally quite a sharp stab.
So far no bleeding, but last week I did have some discharge. Could this be late implantation? And now I've had painful breasts for 2 days; just touching them hurts.
I hope you can help me out.
    Love

Sounds like implantation, yeah... I felt that too. You could test on one of those days. Then you'll know for sure. Good luck!

    Hi Gwenn,
I think implantation happens somewhere between 5-9 days after conception (right after your ovulation), so it could be possible. Honestly, I can't help you further. My tests have been negative so far. My expected period is on February 6th or 7th, so I don't know yet if implantation happened for me either. I don't remember feeling it during my first pregnancy, so I don't really have personal experience with it!
If I do/don't get my period, I can tell you more haha.
    Best, B

    Hi!
I’m going to start testing this week and wait as long as possible to avoid disappointment... Last month, my ovulation tests weren’t positive, and I had every symptom imaginable. Now, I have absolutely none—no breast tenderness or stabbing pains lower in my belly. I hope it’s implantation, but if not, it doesn’t matter; we’ll just move on to the next round.

BM, I’m really curious what comes up for you!!

Claudia, I have that same feeling too, but something still holds me back... It definitely feels different than last month, but I’m still waiting. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
Are there others who feel this way too...
  13. Moedertjuh #14

You should only test when you're ready for it. And yeah, if not, you know there's always another chance in the next round. I really hope you're super pregnant!

    Hi ladies,
I took an early pregnancy test this morning. There's a faint line visible in the distance... whether I look from above or from the side doesn't matter, I can definitely see it. I'm curious if you guys can see it too. I've posted it on my profile... I'll test again on Thursday because my hcg levels might not be high enough yet...

Unfortunately, the line on the photo isn't very clear, but it's definitely clear in real life.
    Love,

    Hi Gwen,

It looks positive. I had that this morning too (see NOD February 2018 on the forum) and just took a digital test and I'm pregnant! So maybe you could grab a digital test too?

    Good luck!

    Best, BM

    Hi bm
Yeah, I thought so too. I do have a digital one, but I'll wait a bit with that. So I'll test again on Thursday. I'm curious!
  17. Moedertjuh #18

I see it, but you can also take a photo of it standing up. I'll put an example below of what I mean. But I do see something!

    Hey girls

Is it normal that I'm getting more discharge? It's more yellowish and white, and it doesn't really stick between my fingers. It's not too thick either. Gross, I know. The new tests come tomorrow, so I'm curious. Since this afternoon I've been feeling really nauseous and have a headache..
