Hi everyone,

I'm sitting in my chair crying, it's been such an emotional evening.

Just to explain the situation:
- 24 years old, no kids yet
- June 2017: stopped the pill
- December: first period
- Tomorrow is day 28/01, my TTD (time to decide).

Last week I had light brown spotting. Also a bloated belly, lots of gurgling sounds, and extreme hunger. Since this week I've got terrible acne on my face (all tiny spots), and because of that, everyone asks if I'm pregnant... even my mom's friends asked her if I was pregnant. Everyone gives me that look, they can tell I've stopped the pill...

Tonight we went out for a drink with friends, my husband is away alone. I don't feel like dealing with more questions or baby talk... because it's not as straightforward as we thought..

So now I'm crying in the chair (I know: pathetic), I feel so ugly and I really hope I'll be carrying our baby soon.. I'm so scared of the coming week, I don't want a negative test.

Pf, it all sounds very negative, I just wanted to get it off my chest, maybe someone here relates.

Wishing everyone here a speedy pregnancy!
X

Oh, I'm so sorry you're feeling this way, Lientje. The desire for a child can bring about so much and often brings up more emotions than we expected.

I don't really have an explanation for the pimples. Were you also as irregular with your pill before? Waiting six months for your first period is such a long time; it's only natural to feel sad and uncertain, but try to stay positive. I hope you get pregnant very soon. Big hug!

I had a lot of pimples in the first month after stopping the pill... especially on my chest. Hormones... so maybe get your blood drawn by your GP. Just to check if you're "healthy". They can check your vitamin and iron levels, etc.
