Feeding and sleep schedule
22 replies · page 1 of 2
My baby is 6 months old:
08:00 210-7 scoops of formula, 2 scoops Bambix cereal.
Sleep until 11
11:00 fruit 125 grams
13:00 210-7 scoops
Sleep from 3 to 4
17:00 210-7 scoops
19:00 vegetables 200 grams + a little water or a little caffeine-free tea
21:00 210-7 scoops of formula, 2 scoops Bambix cereal plus 4 drops of vitamin D.
Sleep 23:00 to 08:00. Before 11 o'clock he doesn't want to sleep in the evening?? We think it's because of the eczema and the itching.

Hey,
The schedule looks completely different now, but he’s already 13 months old.
08:00 first bottle 250ml
10:00 cookie
12:00 fries, veggies, and meat
12:30 nap until 15:00
15:00 fruit puree or fruit pieces
18:00 sandwiches
19:00 getting ready for bedtime: washing, brushing teeth, putting on pajamas.
20:00 bottle 250ml and sleep
Greetings,
Nathalie

My daughter is 10 months old, nice topic. I'm curious myself sometimes how the schedules of other kids look.
We wake up quite late:
At 8:45 get out of bed
9:00: dad's bottle, 210 water, 7 scoops of food + 2 breakfast scoops bambix
Wash and dress
11:30: fruit bite
12:00: sleep until about 13:00 (very short, hopefully this will change)
13:00: sandwich with some butter and spreadable cheese (from this, at most 2 or 3 pieces are actually eaten, the rest flies on the ground or is spat out)
15:00: 180 water + 6 scoops of food
16:30/16:45: potato with vegetables + now and then meat/fish
18:15: dad's bottle, 190 water + 7 scoops bambix or pajama food
18:45: bedtime -

Hey, fellow babblet here with a 10-month-old too. He looks completely different again :
Around 6 am (a bit early, but we're also often up around that time) and then 250 ml of Bambix cereal
Around 7/8 am to bed, around 9/10 am out of bed and then 2-3 slices of bread.
Around 11 a cookie
Around 12.30 a slice of bread
13.00 to bed until about 15.00, then an apple (sometimes he wants it, other times only water)
Around 17.00/17.30 vegetables, 1 small potato and two tablespoons of vegetables, sometimes meat.
18.30 or sometimes earlier to bed.
In between he drinks water and in the mornings with meals another glass of milk.
Fun to compare indeed! -

Anonymous22, I also went with those feeding times at that age to get him into our routine. Breakfast, coffee, lunch, coffee, dinner.
Only he wanted to sleep in the evenings already as a newborn; he first slept through the evenings and then, about half a year later, started sleeping through the nights too.
When we put him to bed in the evening (because of renovations, he sleeps downstairs in the evening), he surprisingly sleeps an hour longer in the morning. Sometimes you just have to try things out, but yes, eczema can definitely cause quite a bit of discomfort! -

Thanks a lot ladies, that you want to share the schedule! @babbeltje the rest flies over the ground, nicely described haha @ hartje he does want to sleep as soon as mom or dad lies down next to him, but we don't do that because we're afraid it'll become a habit after more than 2 weeks. We're seeing the effect of the tar and hormone cream, already a few days less food, 9 first 8
so even though he doesn't want to sleep in the evenings, I can't complain, don't have to get up at night, lovely. How are you? Are you experiencing extra ailments from carrying twins? Love -

Heyy girls, I'm back
A schedule?? I guess I have a half-baked one
my youngest is 5 months now.
Between 8/9 I breastfeed and get up and have breakfast with the eldest.
Around 10:00 I feed him again but if he doesn't drink much then he sleeps until about 11:30
Then around 12:00 lunch with the eldest and then between 12:30 and 13:00 I feed him and put them both to bed.
Around 14:30 and 15:00 they are both awake and I feed him again. Then around 17:00 I often feed him again but he doesn't really drink much. Then around 18:30 and 19:00 same thing and then he wants to sleep again. Then he sleeps differently until 23:00 or night but I feed as needed. Or well actually I do that all day. I don't give solid food yet, I let him taste a bit sometimes when I eat myself. With my eldest I did that but up to 6 months it's not really necessary so I take it easy. He doesn't seem to miss it so much either. With breastfeeding it's probably different than with a bottle.
Oh yes and by the way if your little one sleeps better next to you I wouldn't make such a fuss about it. My eldest sometimes sleeps with us now so we all sleep well at least. My youngest surprisingly doesn't want to. -

It's nice, isn't it, Mama? We chat away here, hehe. I started earlier with dad and solid food because of the reflux. Since Hy really eats well, I've also been able to stop the Ritadin, the medicine for reflux, like stomach protectors. And by "sleeping next to," I mean: his crib is right next to my bed, just pushed up against it. And when I lie down next to him in my bed (pretending to sleep), he does go to sleep, but I don't think this is really a solution. On Friday, I'm visiting my grandpa, so I can't lie next to his camping crib either. So I'm afraid if I get him used to this, he won't sleep without me anymore. -

Things are going well here! I feel a bit more pregnant than I actually am, but that's logical.
With breastfeeding, it's harder to find a schedule, right! I always heard those success stories about 4 hours between feeds with breastfeeding, but not here. Usually, I could let that go, but when someone was around, I felt half embarrassed about feeding so much because I had the feeling that I should be feeding less.
As for co-sleeping, I always keep in mind that you should do it the way you want to do it every night. My little guy had a few evenings where he wanted to sit comfortably on my lap, which was nice, but not every night because I'm sometimes away or busy. You can try all sorts of things that aren't necessarily practical. But with a lot of insomnia, I think I'd try everything too!
My little boy here also never wants to sleep with us, what a pity! Seems cozy, waking up together in the morning or something. The guy tears the place apart hihi! -

Any more mamas who want to share their feeding schedules!???? -

Hi
Between 8 and 9 he gets 150/180cc of baby formula. He doesn't always finish it, by the way, he has multiple bottles a day anyway.
Between 10 and 11, 100g of fruit.
To bed (unless we're out, then he sleeps in little snippets here and there)
Between 12 and 1, 120g of rice cereal. At 6+ months I think there's also a bit of grains in it.
At our lunch he sometimes gets to try a small piece of bread but he just gags and spits it out.
Between 2 and 3, 90/120cc of baby formula.
To bed.
5 o'clock, 120/180cc of baby formula
6pm, a few bites of vegetables. Often not more than 50g. Sometimes a few bites and very rarely 100g.
(7pm, 50/100cc of baby formula (since recently the BV has stopped here, he whines for something to eat so we give him the bottle. But I think this should stop)
11pm, 150/180cc of milk
Actually he has 4 big meals, all of which have been split in two.
Bottle and fruit
Porridge and bottle
Bottle and vegetables
And bedtime bottle
By the way, he's 6 months old.
Oh, and recently he slept until half past 5. So he ate more vegetables and had a hefty bottle before going to sleep. It's still fluctuating though.

Anonymous22, I was thinking, but around that time he also ate bread with me, and he really liked it. He used to have 3 slices of bread for a while, then it decreased a bit, and now it's about 2-3 a day. Also cookies, but he really had to learn that. I had a Bumbo seat where he could sit perfectly, and I used that for eating. -
Hartje #14
Just checked the archive
he was only 6 months old here
6:15 first feed
9:15 second feed
12:15 lunch (sandwich)
13:30 offered extra breast
15:15 fruit puree
17:15 breast first, then food at 17:30
18:30 extra breast
22:15 last feed
Oh, and I think he slept between 6:15 and 9:15, and a nap after lunch, then bed at 18:30.
I gave him an extra breast after each solid food to make sure he got enough fluids. I started giving him water from a straw cup towards the end of that month. And a few weeks after this schedule, my milk supply dropped due to a new pregnancy.
Hope this helps you out. But every baby is different, of course! -

Hi sweetheart, thanks for all the info hihi. I already saw cookies for babies from 6 months in the store, but these are just hard cookies like the ones we eat too... how did you give them to him? I still find it so scary that he has hard solid food, he only has 1 tooth so far hihi -
Hartje #16
I gave him cookies that melt in his mouth. And then I gave him the whole piece, just like you're taught to give small pieces so they don't choke. At first he gagged quite often, but that's just the reflex. But if you feel your baby isn't ready for it, you definitely shouldn't do it yet! -

Oh, then I want to get those cookies too. Any idea which brand? I have baby corn sticks and those also melt in your mouth right away. This is going super well. -

From the bonus, I'll take a look for you tonight

Amai anonymous22, you've got a big eater, huh!
Here they eat much less, I'll note down my schedule.
My little one is also 6 months old.
8am: 220ml breastmilk (pumped from earlier, comes from the freezer)
10:30 to 12pm sleep
12pm: 200g veggies and potato
2:30 to 4pm sleep
4pm: 200g fruit porridge: apple, pear, banana mix
In the evening with me in the armchair and he usually falls asleep with mama again
9pm: 210ml + 7 scoops of cereal
10pm sleep until 6am, but don't give food earlier than 7am.
Then I take him to bed and he usually sleeps with us for another hour or in his own crib.
At first I also gave him a bottle of cereal at 7pm (pumped breastmilk from the freezer, 150ml) but he's been refusing it for 3 days now.
Greetings
