False pregnancy test due to too much urine?

Hi everyone, I've been reading along for a while but now I have a question of my own..
I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning with the Kruidvat tests (2 for 5). I'm 3 days before my period. I was just a bit too enthusiastic... I put too many drops on the test. The result was negative: no line, not pregnant. There was a control line though.
Now I read online that too much urine can give a false result. Has anyone experienced this before?

    Did you test it again?

I did a lot of research on it and watched a lot of videos showing they test it, but mostly the urine just turns darker. It was also a video with the Kruidvat test. So no, luckily it doesn't make a difference.

It's really weird when it doesn't match up. I once accidentally added too much drop and the test stayed blank. Sometimes you suddenly see a faint line. But anyway, doubt is annoying. Just test again with the first drop of urine. Try to find some calm. If you're still unsure, call the health center for a reassuring word.
