Is the test positive?!?

Hi!

I took a test today and I'm not sure if it's positive or not. It's a Clearblue test and you can see the plus line very faintly. I should have gotten my period today but it hasn't arrived. Earlier this week I did have a lot of cramps and spotting. I think this might have been implantation? What do you all think?

P.S. in the photo it's even lighter than in real life.

Don't these tests usually show a faint line? Clearblue needs a decent amount of hCG. Just wait a few more days. Good luck!

I do see something light.. but I've never used these tests before so I don't know if they always show something like Heart says. Indeed, maybe test again with a different brand? If you don't get your period today, you can actually test directly, right?

I also think it's a bit faint. With other tests, I'd definitely say it's positive, but I've heard more often that people saw a line but it turned out to be nothing. I'd go for a dipstick or the Kruidvat tests. But there is a line, so your chances are good! Especially with your symptoms beforehand.

I do see a faint line, but it's very light. From my experience, I never saw a faint line when I turned out to be pregnant. I bought that test for the first round and didn't know yet that it turned out to be a pricey joke, because the ones from Action have been reliable for me too.

Thanks for your replies, ladies! I bought a different brand and will try it again tomorrow. I find it quite exciting, though!

Tested this morning with the Predictions Early, which was faintly positive like the Clearblue. A bit darker than the Clearblue though. But I just read that this test is also known for giving false positives. (I'm currently abroad and can't buy the Kruitvat one.) Another test was negative. I also had a very small amount of brown spotting when I peed this morning, and I'm afraid my period might continue. So I think it didn't work out.

predictor early dedoel ik! Sorry autocorrectie van mijn telefoon!

How does that actually work with dry lines? The second test showed a clear line after 20 minutes, actually. I know I shouldn't count that as positive because it clearly says in the instructions not to read the result after 5 minutes. But I was wondering how it works then, do you guys know?

Then I'd wait a few more days. See if you get your period after all, and if not, you could test again. This time it should be clearer. Hope so for you!

Sorry that you're writing anonymously! I also think you should wait a bit. And after 5 minutes, the test is unfortunately invalid!

Period just started or the tests were false positive or implantation didn't go perfectly. But hoping again for next month

Oh, that's annoying, but there are always new opportunities. Hope it works out this time. Good luck!
