Who dares??

Hey ladies!
It's a weird idea, but maybe there are some equally quirky members here like me, haha.
I read that you can make a pregnancy test at home!
With toothpaste! Yeah, sounds unbelievable, I know.
I'm curious if it works, so I'm asking both pregnant and non-pregnant women to try it and see if it works.
You put a bit of toothpaste in a bowl, add a few drops of urine, and mix it all together.
Pregnant - you get bubbles and/or it changes color!
Not pregnant - nothing happens.
Who dares? Haha, I'm curious!

What's in toothpaste that reacts to the hCG hormone? I think you could just as well pee on a pile of barley and see if it sprouts faster (an ancient test)

I gave birth 6 months ago, so I assume I’d definitely test negative, right? I can’t really be pregnant. I use both the pill and condoms, hehe. How much urine did you catch roughly? And I only have Whitening toothpaste, the strong kind for extra white teeth. No idea if it makes a difference?

I got bubbles as soon as my urine touched the toothpaste, and stirring made even more bubbles.

You should just add a few drops!

Oh, I actually had a layer instead of drops, hehe.

No bubbles here ~but just had a baby.
You can also use baking soda to see the gender. Just google it for those interested.
    I haven't tried it.
