Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
3 months no period, but a positive ovulation test
Hi everyone,
I'm new to Brabbels and I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on my question.
I stopped the pill in July 2017 after using it for 2 years. In August, September, and October, I had my period (the same cycle as when I was on the pill: 6 days, on the same days).
After that, I didn't get my period for the following months. Just to be sure, I took a pregnancy test in November, which was negative. I was wondering today why my period hadn't come, so I took an ovulation test because I wanted to know if I was ovulating or not. Because generally, if ovulation occurs and there's no fertilization, I should get my period.
So I got a positive test... My questions are:
1. Is it normal for your period to be absent for so long after stopping the pill?
2. Does ovulation occur in the months when I didn't have my period?
3. Should I take a pregnancy test? I've been feeling sleepy, have heartburn, and shortness of breath in the past few days.
