Hi everyone,

I'll introduce myself briefly. I'm 31, my husband is 37. We're proud parents of a six-year-old boy and have now decided to go for a second little miracle, so I had my Implanon removed two months ago.
We're now in round 2, exciting... who wants to chat?

Greetings

Hi Loca, that's lovely! Did it go quickly the first time? We're also really considering having a second one!

Hi hi, nice that you're thinking about it too. We also hesitated for a bit, but we really wanted to experience everything again Our little boy actually came completely unexpectedly. I was just on the pill, I'd been on it for about ten years, and we were busy with wedding preparations.
Until I thought I had stomach flu and was afraid it would ruin our wedding day.. well, you guessed it.. turns out I was pregnant. At first, a bit of a shock, but in the end, it's the best thing that could have happened to us

    Hi there,
I'm 26 and almost graduating. My partner and I have decided to give it a try, so we're over the moon. I hope it works out for us soon, and of course for you all too. This will be our first baby, so we're really excited and can't wait.
    xx Ashley

Hey Ashley, it's nice that you want to chat. It's exciting for you, of course, and I hope it works out quickly for you and everyone else. But I have to admit, I don't find trying too unpleasant I had my NOD on the 29th, and I have to confess that even though I'm trying not to think about it too much this week, it's going by way too slowly hahaha.

    Good luck and talk soon

    Hi,
Yeah, it's definitely very exciting for us. We'll be more than happy if it indeed works out quickly. I like chatting here with other moms or moms-to-be or those trying to get pregnant, because no one in my surroundings knows that we're trying. So it's lovely to be able to share everything here.

...sounds familiar, actually I want to tell everyone everything and ask questions.. enjoy fantasizing and daydreaming but at the same time I don't want to bother them too much hahaha that's why I also like to read and chat here on the forums so you can let your "egg" out and no one has to deal with it because we're all doing it

Hi! How lovely to have a second baby! I hope it works out for you soon!

I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first child, and it took me over two years to get pregnant! It didn't work out for us before, and we weren't really trying anymore because we thought we were infertile, and then suddenly I got pregnant last July, which is super!

Enjoy it, and especially enjoy your first child!

Hi hi, how lovely that you're 15 weeks pregnant, congratulations! What a time, 2 years, but well, it's all so worth it.
We're definitely enjoying it, always have, we have a beautiful son, and if we're lucky enough to have a second little miracle, that would be amazing. If it doesn't work out... then we'll just carry on as we are now

    Hi everyone,

Congratulations to those who are already pregnant. That's wonderful! I wish all the others lots of luck. I hope I can chat along with you all. I'm Suus, 32 years old, and we're trying for our third little one. I'm really looking forward to it. Actually, it's just as nerve-wracking as with the first one, except that you know conception is basically possible. Still, the uncertainties remain, and I'm waiting for a positive pregnancy test. I stopped the pill in July, after which I had a withdrawal bleed. Then I had a 44-day cycle (it probably just needs to get back into rhythm...), and now I'm waiting again. I'm on day 36 and the test is negative. So, back to waiting to see if I get my period or if I'll have a positive test in a week's time. It's mainly difficult right now because I have no idea when my ovulation was, so I don't know if I'm actually late or when I should expect my period.

I'm also curious to hear your stories.

    Greetings, Suus

    Hi Suus, welcome here!

We're trying for our second one; we already have a six-year-old son. I actually have a pretty regular cycle of 27/28 days, but you still have to be lucky and wait haha, waiting every month but hey, we've got time ;-) Good luck! Have you heard any more news or are you still on the waiting bench?

    Best,

hi suus, i don't know how it works with the test but i think you're not supposed to read it after five minutes.. on the other hand a friend of mine had that too and now has a little one of a year and a half walking around.... i would wait a bit and if not, throw another test over the weekend or after the weekend.. i hope it works out for you, nice..

from today i'm back on day 1, so on to round 3.
it was the other way around for us, i was convinced it was good but my husband still saw a little one in it.. so after a lot of hesitation from my side i just made the decision and i have to say since we made the decision i find it really fun hahaha and i'm already very disappointed again when we have to start the next round.. (not that i don't like it, quite the opposite) but well on the other hand there are so many girls who have been trying for years.. i just have to practice being patient

have a nice evening and let me know about your tests.. i'm curious

    Hi Loca,
So it's day 2 today. Too bad, but indeed, as you say, be patient and keep practicing . But I totally get what you mean, you're a month further already, and the days sometimes just feel so long. When I think of others who have to wait for years, it's incredible. What stress, tension, and hope there always is. I'm now on day... uh... 38 I think. With my previous pregnancies, I got pregnant on the second round both times, so I don't have much experience with waiting. The first time I had two cycles of 30 days. The second pregnancy, I had one cycle of 30 days and the second round (when I got pregnant) I also had a very long cycle, I remember that well. So it's just waiting. That test from yesterday was indeed not reliable, I actually knew that too. I'll probably test again on Wednesday or Thursday (if I'm not on my period), I'm way too curious. I'll keep you posted. You too, good luck and have a nice weekend! Greetings, Suus
