Bleeding with clumps (tissue)

Hi ladies,
According to the calculation, I’m 6+1 weeks pregnant with my second baby today. But last Sunday I had a bit of bright red bleeding. On Monday it turned into brown blood with strands, and from Wednesday it changed to just flakes/tissue. It’s almost gone now and definitely not every time I go to the toilet. I haven’t had any stomach pain or cramps. My breasts are still tight and full, and I’m urinating a lot. Also, I haven’t had any issues with this pregnancy yet (except being a bit tired, which is normal). Does anyone have an idea what this could be? P.S. My first pregnancy ended with an emergency C-section for my daughter. Could there be a connection with the C-section? See the photo; the last picture is from the day before yesterday. Now it’s really minimal

This looks a bit similar to what I had when my second miscarriage started spontaneously... I'd call the midwife if I were you. Strength, girl.

Thanks for the reply, Jootje1979. Had my ultrasound today, everything looked perfect with a strong little heartbeat. According to the midwife, I don't need to worry and it was just discharge.

Oh, amazing!! So glad you could see a beating heart!! Enjoy it, girl!

What a relief for you, girl! Hopefully, you'll get past the first three months soon! Those photos looked pretty scary to me, I think? It's weird that it's discharge in your urine and then in flakes. You'd expect more strands. How is your discharge now? Enjoy Christmas with your little one in your belly!

The night from Friday to Saturday I lost a huge blood clot, all without pain. Went to the ER on Saturday, turns out I was pregnant with triplets and lost 2 of them that night. Baby number 3 is doing fine (so far). I still have a lot of blood in my uterus where the other two were. But according to the ER, my body will clear it out on its own. I've (so far) had occasional blood on the toilet paper. But for the past hour I've been having sharp pains, which I haven't experienced before in this pregnancy. Maybe it's just my uterus growing? But as long as my breasts still feel full and tight, I hold on to that, like I have throughout this uncertain pregnancy.

Phoe, this pregnancy is truly an emotional rollercoaster. But what can you do about it? The only thing I can do is keep hoping... hoping that this little fighter survives.

What a special story, sweetheart! It's so sad for the two that didn't work out, but that's just how the body works, and it would be wonderful if the third one turns out to be a beautiful baby, right?

Wow, what a story... Glad that at least one stayed in! I hope everything keeps going well with this little one????

Hi. I've been pregnant for a few days now, and for the past few days I've had a little bit of bleeding. My boyfriend and I had sex, and after we finished, I also had some blood. The midwife knows about this.

Oum Norah, how are things now? Is everything still okay?

Hi, I've had brown bleeding since yesterday all day, and this morning it's red—first bright pink, now a bit darker. It's been going on like this. I already went to the midwife this morning, but she couldn't tell me much. I'm 4 weeks plus 6 days, but she expected to see more herself, though it could also be that it wasn't visible yet. This makes me really anxious, especially since I've had two miscarriages before, and if this goes wrong too, it's all so uncertain. I have to say, though, that the first miscarriage was different. There, I lost the gestational sac right away. I had brown bleeding the day before, and in the morning it was gone, and then *pop* at night, a little bubble, and in the morning I had it between my legs.

    Hi there

I've had exactly the same thing since I found out I'm pregnant on August 12th..
Since today I've been experiencing this, I feel super insecure... and I'm wondering what this could be ????.

I have to go to the hospital to see the gynecologist on Thursday.

I tested positive too! 4 weeks and 2 days. Yesterday, on Mother's Day, I had spontaneous bright red bleeding and abdominal cramps, like contractions. Still testing positive now. Could there be another one inside? Feeling so unsure.

    Hi hi
I'm now 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby. This morning when I was peeing, there was also blood. I was curious where the blood came from, so I put my finger in and got this.
I've had lower back pain since week 4, and everything was fine at the first ultrasound. Right now I'm bleeding really minimally; the blood looks a bit pink and thick.
    Is this good or bad?

Bleeding in the first trimester is very common and can be completely harmless, but if you're unsure, always call your midwife!

    Hi hi,
I’ve been testing positive for a few days (used the early result Clearblue test), did another one this morning and it also says pregnant (always first morning urine). But a few hours later I started bleeding when I peed (this would’ve been the day my period was due). In my previous pregnancy, I also had my period at first. I’m feeling really unsure now – has anyone else experienced this?

Hi! I'm 6 weeks pregnant and this morning I noticed red blood when I went to the toilet???? A little while after it was pink and then stopped, but now it's back and quite similar to menstrual blood in both color and amount. I have my first ultrasound on Thursday, but I'm really worried something might be wrong.
