Hi everyone,
I had an artificial insemination on December 11th, and I had a positive ovulation test on December 10th. Since this morning, I've been experiencing incredible menstrual-like cramps just above my pubic bone that radiate to the left (that's where my egg was released). Could this be implantation? Until yesterday, I had painful and sensitive breasts; yesterday, I couldn't even lie on my stomach because my breasts hurt so much. Now, they're only slightly sensitive but not painful anymore. I'm going crazy with uncertainty, so I want to do a Sensibaby test tomorrow morning (it can be done 6 days before your expected period). Officially, I'm only allowed to test from the 25th. Or is this not implantation at all?
Thanks in advance!

    I heard that implantation takes a few days... so I'll really wait a bit longer before testing... then you're really sure... Have you had your period yet? Or when should it come? And what's your cycle like?

    I have a regular 28-day cycle. I should get my period on December 25th, but I’ve set my own deadline for the 28th at the latest.
    According to the hospital, I’m only allowed to test on the 27th, which would be 16 days after insemination. By the way, the pain is gone again now; I only have sore breasts left.

    The most annoying thing is that period symptoms are almost indistinguishable from pregnancy symptoms. I'll really wait before testing... testing too early can also give a different result.

    I felt some twinges in my womb last night, totally weird, no idea what that was! The waiting is so long and exciting.

    I'm in the same boat as you guys..
    On Nov 15 I had a very light bleed, only in urine, and within an hour it was gone. The GP suspected it was implantation bleeding.. Since then until now no period.. I really do have pregnancy symptoms like gurgling intestines, less bowel movements, dark red sensitive nipples and bumps on and around them.. crying spells and mood swings.. but so far 5 weeks later, all tests are negative, even the blood test.. I can't see the gynecologist until Jan 17 for an internal ultrasound. On that date I'll be 9 weeks... I have the feeling I'm pregnant but that I can't test earlier.. with my first pregnancy I was 9 weeks pregnant without knowing it. It's all very weird but the GP won't believe me and doesn't listen to my symptoms, saying if the tests are negative the chance of pregnancy is small.. but since I was 13 I've always had my period, except when I was pregnant. I now have to sit in suspense for another thick month or the tests will have to eventually show positive over time

    Lady, but if your blood test is negative, they can't be wrong. Hopefully, the gynecologist can do more!

    @sammetje
    They say that.. but it's not true.
    Two weeks ago I called the doctor again because my MS hadn't shown up yet. She immediately asked if I had tested again in the meantime... why would I need to test again if the blood test is reliable?
    I just went to the bathroom and I'm lightly bleeding with some mucus. Felt like discharge.. not even a panty liner full yet.
