Hi, I need to share something. I gave birth 7 weeks ago and, uh, yeah, I know it's unsafe, but I had sex 2 weeks ago. I've been off the pill for a month now because I'd rather use the bottle anyway, but so far no infections. Should I be worried? I tested yesterday but don't know if it was too early. According to the test, everything's fine, but I still haven't gotten my period. I'll wait until the end of the month and then go to the GP. Help a girl out!

After giving birth, it can sometimes take a while before you get your period again. Of course, it's possible that you're pregnant, but you shouldn't necessarily count on it just because your period hasn't returned yet. Definitely get some pregnancy tests and, if needed, see your GP!

You're super fertile right after giving birth... so maybe test again in a week.

I gave birth 15 months ago and still haven't had my period. I do have BV now though.
With the oldest 3, I also didn't get my period until after 8 weeks or longer, no BV.
Nothing to worry about. If you had become pregnant 2 weeks ago, you would have tested positive.

No need to panic right away. It takes a while for your period to return, and in my case, it came back after taking the pill. If you're still experiencing pregnancy symptoms, I'd suggest seeing a doctor or taking another test
