After a miscarriage.

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately, on November 23rd, after a pregnancy of probably 7 weeks, I had a miscarriage.
That was on Thursday, and on Tuesday I had a blood test where the hCG levels were already at zero.
Last week I really had abdominal cramps and thought my period would start soon... and now I've had sore breasts for a few days, not tight or bigger but painful especially the nipples. Since today I also have really wet, mucus-like white discharge, much more than usual.
No threads, but it really flows out and I feel like I'm losing blood... even though it's discharge.
I'm also struggling with my mood.
I'm going crazy with the uncertainty, not being able to trust my body like I could before the miscarriage. The pregnancy was quite a surprise, no contraception but we'll see what happens... so we weren't actively trying, which is different now.
Does anyone recognize this?

    Hi Femke,
I had a miscarriage in August at 10 weeks. After that, I got my period after 6 weeks and then every 27/28 days. Until last month. Then, after 21 days, I suddenly had bleeding when wiping. Then no bleeding for 2 days, and then again for 2/3 days, and then my period continued.
Once ovulation has occurred, I also have a lot of discharge, very thin. Sometimes it does indeed come out, which is quite annoying. Before the miscarriage, I never had this.
I’ve also become very unsure and no longer recognize my own body.

I had a miscarriage 2 months ago too. My first period came back normally within 28 days (counted from the day of the miscarriage) and I even felt ovulation.
Maybe you're already close to your period again? I've heard more often that the first cycle after a miscarriage doesn't have to take long.
I was happy about it anyway, because it gave me a bit of confidence.
However, that confidence is gone again this 2nd round after the miscarriage, because I didn't feel ovulation. Normally really always, (except last September when I was pregnant.)
I have no idea how long this cycle will last. Now on day 28. No signs of period or pregnancy.

I hope you can become pregnant carefree again soon!

I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago. Got confirmation via an ultrasound yesterday. Started bleeding again this morning even though the GP said my uterine lining was still quite thin. But it really feels like a period. I do have to see the gynecologist on Tuesday though; she saw two cysts on my uterus. So further investigation. I've also lost a bit of trust in my body because I'm not sure about my cycle anymore. But we were pregnant in round 3, so I'm confident that another pregnancy will come. I think your body just needs some time to recover. It'll settle down on its own.
