Kiana and Liliyana

Sanne SiermanGuest ·
We already have a daughter, Kiana, whom we (sometimes) shorten to Kiki, and we'd like to name our second girl Liliyana.
But do you think they don't look too similar?
Kiana and Liliyana both end in Yana.

Liliana (without the Y, so it ends in Ana) isn't an option because my husband doesn't find it pretty.

What do you think we should do or not do?

Hi hi. I don't think it's a problem that the names are a bit similar. Personally, I wouldn't choose Liliyana. I'd go more for Lily or Lana, Yanna. But I don't think it's weird that the names are similar.

I think they go well together. They are two quite different names. Will they be shortened to Kiki and Lily? That's also really cute!

Having two kids in one family with names ending in iana/iyana, I wouldn't do that.
Also, I find the spelling "Liliyana" a bit weird. As if you're struggling to spell properly.

    My ideas:

    Liliane
    Evole
    Ciane
    Roselle
    Luciane
    Zarole
    Viviane
    Levine
    Estelle
    Aveline
    Limare
    Veria
    Luana
