    I really think it's such a lovely name! Sweet and chic at the same time. It's popular in France. You don't hear it that often here. That makes it even more fun.

    Yes, it's indeed popular in France. I also had the feeling that maybe it's more of a pet name or fits in the same category as Milou and Malou. I don't like that at all. Only Lilou keeps sticking in my mind... I also thought about Lalou?

    Curious to hear your thoughts!

    I find Lilou nice and sweet on one hand, but on the other hand, it feels a bit too "simple" or something.
    In that sense, it does make me think more of a pet.
