Good evening!
I have a question. I got my period about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, I lost dark brown to almost black blood, and today it’s a bit lighter, dark red/brown. What does this “intermenstrual” bleeding mean? I’ve done some searching but still have my doubts! I hope you can help me out.

    Hi Johanna, I think it was an implantation bleed... those can happen around that time. I had the same thing but it lasted 11 days. It was very dark brown/black/light pink, alternating, and only when wiping or as a small streak on a panty liner?

    Thanks for your quick reply, I did indeed miss that, it's just about wiping! And occasionally a little swipe on the insert, the color difference is quite significant, I notice it's getting lighter now, in the sense of light pink. I always have a regular cycle, same day every month, which is why I felt a bit worried! I missed the implantation bleeding (I'm not really into these kinds of things yet haha), but 11 days is quite long! So I should probably just wait now.. ?

    I’ve had this too. It’s still a bit too early for a test. There are predictors that can detect it very early, but I’m afraid you’ll have to wait a little longer.

    I'm just patiently waiting for my period to start, and then I'll think about what to do next; there's no other option! But thanks for the advice, it already makes me feel more at ease. I'll keep you all updated.
