Hidde or Thom

AnonymousGuest ·
We're looking for a fresh boys' name that has a positive vibe. It should be easy to spell and pronounce. Hidde is my favorite, but I'm only hesitating because it's a Frisian name and we're not from there. Thom is nice too, but it's so common and negative associations are easy to make... I'm curious to hear your thoughts and any suggestions are welcome!!

    Between these two Hidde,
Thom feels very familiar to me and comes across as a bit weak, sorry, that's just my opinion on how it comes across to me. With Hidde, I see a slightly stronger person than with Thom. With Thom, I see a somewhat weaker person.
By the way, I don't know anyone named Hidde, but I do know the name
And I did know a Thom, a very nice and pleasant guy,
and he always had a strong opinion.
But when I just think about the name, it gives me that impression.
