Pregnant?

Hi ladies!

I'm already a proud mom of a 3-year-old daughter, and recently we've decided we want a second one

I've been on the pill for the past 2 years (Microgynon 30) and I stopped taking it on November 3rd. I then got my period on November 7th. Naturally, we've been trying hard lately, and since last Tuesday, December 28th, I've been having a weird feeling in my lower abdomen. It feels heavy/bloated, and my lower abdomen is really tender with certain movements. This feeling is present all day long. Since I started feeling this, sex has become really painful, like I can feel my uterus or something.

I expect to get my period around next Tuesday, but I have no idea how my cycle will be since this is the first month after stopping the pill.

My question is: do you recognize these symptoms? I also don't know if these could be symptoms of coming off the pill. I did an early test on Wednesday, but it was negative as expected because it was still very early. I expect to get my period next week (unless I'm pregnant ).

Apart from the above, I have no other symptoms, except feeling a bit tired, but that doesn't necessarily have to be related?

Who recognizes this unpleasant feeling in their lower abdomen, and knows if it turned out to be pregnancy, or if it's related to stopping the pill?

Thanks in advance!

Haha yeah, anything’s possible.. it could be from the pill since your body is now doing it “on its own” again.. ovulation.. period coming up or pregnant! Hopefully the last one!
I’d test again tomorrow or the day after

Hey missy, what I read a lot is that coming off the pill can cause the same symptoms as pregnancy, so it's quite possible that you're coming off the pill. Best is to just wait until you get your period. Good luck anyway, and hope it hits the mark from the first round!

Yeah, I think so too that it's withdrawal bleeding, but secretly you hope it's something else I'll wait for my period...

Still no period but also no positive test: hmm. Since Sunday I haven't had any symptoms anymore, so I think it's probably not pregnancy.
