Could it really be?

Hi everyone, I'm new here and hoping for support and good advice!

Long story short: I take the pill correctly, haven't been sick, no antibiotics. Just some breakthrough bleeding now and then. So basically no chance, but....

About 5 weeks ago, I got quite bad lower back pain. According to the physio it's just muscles, which is fine.. but it's not going away. I'm hypermobile and know my body pretty well in that regard, and I also know that hormones can play a role. Like, for example, with a period. In this case, it's not going away.

About 3 weeks ago, until now, I became extremely tired, although I have to say it seems to be getting a bit less now..

Not to mention heartburn and lower cramps.

At some point I started doubting, and after counting back 4, 5, 6 weeks I did a test anyway. Negative. The nagging feeling remained, I had a pill-free week and did lose bright red slimy -sorry- blood. With separate cramps that I don't normally have. The symptoms didn't go away, and purely for my peace of mind I did another test anyway.

According to this test - sensitivity test - there's no evaporation line? Can you guys see anything at all? Do you have experience with this? So I'd be 8 weeks already, this line is way too faint for that!

I trust negative tests, weirdly enough, and I did have a nice weekend afterwards. I already feel so incredibly guilty if it is the case..

I hope you can help me out a bit.. thanks in advance!

Take it easy, not everyone feels like it early on a Saturday morning these photos come by an average of 3 times a week and then usually negatively. At least, I think negatively because you've already had symptoms for 3 weeks, so it should indeed be quite visible on the test.. If I wanted to test positive, I wouldn't agree with such a test but would want a much clearer one!

I seem to see a faint line... but I'm not familiar with these tests. Maybe you could try another test?

It's also possible that you got pregnant later. In that case, a faint line could make sense. For 8 weeks, it would indeed be a bit faint.

You could take another test in a week. And if you're still unsure, you can always go to your GP.

Hihi, yeah, sorry. Something to do with stress..
In this case, being pregnant for a shorter time isn't possible.
I'm getting some new tests delivered today. I'll do one more then... according to the website, an evaporation line isn't possible with this test, which was actually my first thought too.

It doesn't really look like a drying line, but it's too light for 8 weeks of pregnancy. Have you opened the test yet? Then you can see it a bit better... and indeed, try a different test, I think.

    It's me again,
I got the tests (dipstick sensitest) late this afternoon. This one was completely white.
Could it have been an evaporation line after all, even though they absolutely insist that doesn't happen.

I’d get some blood drawn at the GP’s office. Maybe you were pregnant but having a miscarriage? That’s why the line is so faint when you should normally be 8 weeks along. Because HCG levels drop. I don’t think that line from the Sensitest looks like an evaporation line; it would be much clearer if it were. So if you were indeed pregnant (since you say being less pregnant isn’t possible), this should give you clarity through the blood test.
