Round 1 baby 1

Hi,
I'm almost 39 and we're starting this month. My fertile period begins at the end of this week. We're going away for the weekend, so I can already see the fun coming from afar haha.
Who else is in round 1 for their first baby? Can we help each other out, follow along, and support each other with all that fuzzy pregnancy terminology? NOD means Not On Date, right?
Muze, 38, round 1, baby 1, NOD 19-12 (I think hahaha)

    Hi hi,
For me too, it's my first baby but round 3 after a miscarriage.. I'm 27 years old and my due date is (I think) Dec 4.
Wishing you lots of success, hoping for a positive test!!

Heyy, I'm (still) not trying for a little one yet, but just wanted to share some info: NOD stands for "Not On Day," meaning the day you'd normally expect your period. So basically, the day you should be getting your period I already have a 3.5-year-old son, and I was one of the lucky ones who got pregnant on the first try! I wish you all lots of success, and I hope you get pregnant as quickly as I did

Good luck, Ainsje! Haha Yuzarsiff, I know what NOD means, but I give it my own twist

Hi! I've been trying to get pregnant since December. I just got my IUD removed, so everything is still quite uncertain and we're facing lots of exciting times ahead. Butrrr.. hopefully pregnant soon, I wish this for everyone!
I had and still have a lot of questions. I hope to read/learn a lot from other people's experiences on the forum.

    Greetings x

    Hi,

Me too, round 1 baby 1.
Spiral removed on Nov 6. Period on Nov 8, ovulation on Nov 23 and nothing since then (except for some nagging stomach pain). Done 4 tests already, last one yesterday. All negative. So now 10 days late. Going crazy from waiting but yeah it would also be quite coincidental to get pregnant the first time.

Are you guys also constantly thinking about it? I think about it all day long....

    Cheers, Femke

    Hi Fwempie,

I have no idea about my cycle, I couldn't keep track of it because I didn't have a period while I had the coil. Did you always have a clear cycle?

I've been thinking about it a lot too. Having the coil removed can delay your period, so it's not weird if you get your period later than usual. But if you always had a regular cycle, it is a bit strange.

    It's all so exciting, right!

    Kind regards, Kimberly

I had a 7-week cycle at first, and then in the last few months, cycles of 2 to 3 weeks with spotting in between. That’s why I had it removed.

Normally, I wouldn’t think it weird if I didn’t get a regular cycle right away, but since I was already having periods and had ovulated, it does feel strange.

I think I’ll just pop by the GP on Thursday.

    Best, Femke

Sounds like a good idea to visit your GP, indeed! Keep us posted! Exciting!

I would do that too, Femke! I had a nice, natural 28-day cycle right after stopping the pill

Just got my period and the stomach pain had already gone away yesterday. After 13 days late and not getting a positive test, I'm glad I finally have clarity. Phew, relief.
    On to round 2.

    Cheers, Femke

Sorry it didn't work out, Femke! Glad you have clarity now! Good luck in round 2.

    Xx

    hi ladies,
I already posted my question in another thread, but since I see here that others had a coil, I'm asking here too.
On Dec 7 I had light period, on Dec 15 I had the coil removed and on Dec 20 ovulation. Now I've been nauseous since Dec 23. Last night I even slept badly because of the nausea.
Could this be due to removing the coil? Because of hormones (Mirena).
    Period is due Jan 3.

Hey Bobo, after I had my Mirena removed, I didn’t have any nausea symptoms. But then I started the pill, and even after stopping that, no issues either!
