Lots of bleeding, still pregnant?

Hi, I have a question, hope someone knows the answer! I'm trying to get pregnant and track my cycle fairly well. According to the ovulation test, I ovulated on day 12. I was quite active around that time. I had the feeling that I felt implantation, because I kept having a sort of crampy/bloated feeling down there. And that was about 10 days after my ovulation. Yesterday (on cycle day 29) at 10 PM I started getting my period, couldn't say if it was brownish-red or bright red blood. Today it was definitely bright red and a lot unfortunately. Not really a lot of clots, but a few smaller ones/mucus. So my luteal phase was 16 or 17 days. Got my period normally, I guess. And so disappointed!!! But why do I have a headache, lower back pain, and feel nauseous? I never feel nauseous. I also find it strange, a bit lightheaded and absent-minded. Could I still be pregnant?

    Hey girl!
I don't think you're pregnant! Once you're losing a lot of blood, you simply can't be pregnant. You might have had an early miscarriage, but since you think or hope you're pregnant, your body can play tricks on you, making you feel like you're pregnant!
    Good luck trying again

    Hi Bibi,
Thanks for your reply. Maybe it's just hope, but I did read some stories from girls who got their period a few times and were still pregnant... But does a lot of bleeding always mean you're definitely not pregnant?

Elma, there are people like that, but they're the exceptions. People often experience subjective pregnancy symptoms (the objective sign is a positive test) when there's actually nothing wrong. If they are pregnant, they usually only start feeling nauseous around 6 weeks, so they wouldn't feel anything around the time of their period!
You can always take a test, but it looks like you've just gotten your period unfortunately. I agree with Bibi. On to the next round!
