Dreams and nightmares

D.
Hi, it's me again...
I've always been a vivid, intense dreamer. It used to take a lot of my energy...
Now that I'm pregnant, my dreams seem even more intense than ever...
When I search this forum, I mostly find posts about childbirth, fears about your baby, the gender,...
But I'm dreaming extremely scary and frightening things about my parents... My dreams are very realistic and reflect their behavior that I already knew from back in the day. However, in my dreams, I can no longer defend myself or barely can, and I feel so vulnerable and scared...
I read everywhere to drink tea, but I fear that this inner restlessness comes from much deeper and that it could knock me down again like it did before if I don't deal with it, and I can't let that happen...
Talking to my parents could be an option, but it would be a big step that might take too much energy from me during this pregnancy. Especially since I have minimal contact with my mother and none with my father...
Apparently, there are still things burning inside me that I thought were extinguished and had a place...
I just don't know if some tea before bed or a little tea will be the solution...
Does anyone recognize this?
Love,

Since I'm pregnant again, I'm also dreaming very realistically and a lot. Everyone I know shows up in my dreams. Luckily, nothing that hurts me or gets me down.
Dreams and nightmares are part of the symptoms.
It's also common to dream about your fears and insecurities.
So relatable, but I don't have a solution for this. Maybe I should bring it up to the midwife. Maybe she has some good tips.

Thanks Jo for your reply. So it's somewhat relatable after all.
I'll have to get to work on the rest myself
