Forum Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests

I don't get it anymore.

Hi ladies,
Hope you can help me out and think with me for a bit.
My husband and I have been discussing trying for a 2nd baby since last month.
So, last month we thought I might have missed my ovulation...
But now I'm (I think) late.
My last period was on Oct 23.
On Nov 7 I had clear, stretchy mucus. (so fertile)
We had sex on Nov 4, after that my husband went abroad for work.
I expected my period around the 21st.. my cycle is around 28/30 days.
I've been off the pill for months, so it's not because I stopped contraception.
I tested yesterday, negative.
I do have breast tenderness and a terrible headache.
I really don't know when to expect my period anymore...
Long story but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

    I'd wait another week. There's not much else you can do. It's possible you're already pregnant, or maybe you had sex a bit too early, or maybe the egg hasn't released yet or will do so later. Good luck!

    You're 1 day overdue if you always get your period on the 23rd. I'd try not to stress right away. Try testing again in a few days if you still haven't gotten your period. Good luck!

    No, not always the 23rd, I usually have a cycle of 29 days.. I actually expected my period on Monday, the 21st
