Hi! Just a quick question: I was supposed to get my period on Friday, but it hasn't come yet. I took an ovulation and pregnancy test, and both show a faint positive. The photo isn't very clear since my camera's broken. What do you all think?

    I think I see a faint line on the top one, but the photo is indeed not very clear.
    I’ve also heard more often that ovulation tests can show positive results when you’re pregnant.
    So, cautiously congrats! I’d keep testing for the next few days just to be sure

    My ovulation test showed positive again tonight, but with a faint line.

    Yeah, that’s right. I see a faint line on both, but an ovulation test can sometimes show a stronger line while a pregnancy test is still very faintly positive. I was curious about that. But it’s definitely exciting!

    Went to the doctor today because of my little girl, and he also thought it was weird that the pregnancy test was positive at first and now negative, so I'll get my blood drawn tomorrow just to be sure. But it could also be that my ovulation was just late.

    Erika, I was 3 days late when I did the ovulation test. Friday was my period, and Monday I tested. An ovulation test can definitely be positive if you're pregnant. I'm now 6 weeks pregnant. And do you know any more by now?

    Samantha. Still feeling really weird here.
    I was supposed to get my period on 2-12, but I actually started bleeding on the morning of 4-12, though it was already over by evening, and until two hours ago there was nothing to see. I just did an ovulation test (don’t ask me why????), and it was positive,.. surely I can’t be ovulating again already!!!

    I'd take a pregnancy test. It's quite possible that you're losing some old blood. And if you're pregnant, your ovulation test will also be positive—I had that too. If you've taken a pregnancy test, let me know. I'm really curious!

    Hi everyone!
    I'm new here and also quite new to pregnancy. These tests are 2 and 3 days before my expected period. A line is a line, right? HOW EXCITING!
