Ovulation, yes or no?

Hi there,

I'm new to this forum and obviously have a question. My boyfriend and I really want to have a baby. I've been off the pill for 3 months now. My first cycle was 26 days, the second was 32 days. I have an app that tracks my ovulation and period accurately, and it said I should have ovulated yesterday (based on a 28-day cycle). I also had cramps and pelvic pressure. So I took a test (see attached photo). Everywhere it says that a faint line is a negative test. But in those 3 months, I've never seen a line like that before... always just one line and the other completely blank... Is this a positive test or not? I took the test at 12 pm, had sex in the evening, but I'm wondering if that was even worth it since I tested in the evening and only saw very faint lines... I tested again this morning and it was completely blank again... I'm curious to hear your reactions! Thanks, greetings, Ans

If you normally only see one line, this could be a positive test. But it becomes clearest if you just do the tests every day and look at the progression. That way you see it build up and then fade again. Around the time of the clearest test is when your ovulation occurs.
And well... sex always has a bit of meaning, right...?

I do find it quite positive, they don't always pop up for everyone, of course. But if you do test over several days, you'll naturally see a certain pattern.

Yeah Puck, normally I do indeed only see 1 line.. and now suddenly 2, but this morning/evening the line was very faint to see... haha yeah that's true! But whether I can be pregnant is questionable...
