Help! Being pregnant in Tiel is such a disaster. Which other hospital do you recommend giving birth at?
Hi, my name is Jolene,
I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant. I live with my partner in Tiel.
Nothing is right here regarding the pregnancy. The hospital and the midwife are making a lot of mistakes.
I gave birth to a daughter here before. She's a very sweet girl now, already 5
But they made serious mistakes then too. It could have ended badly.
This pregnancy is the same. The hospital took blood and urine samples to test for gestational diabetes and a bladder infection, and said everything was fine.
Two weeks later, I had a contraction in my belly. I submitted another urine sample and had a severe bladder infection. When they asked why I hadn't gotten checked earlier, they just stared at me
And the midwife and the hospital lost my file from my previous delivery... and they refuse to believe I had gestational diabetes back then.
During an extra check-up with the midwife (who couldn't get her ultrasound machine to work; my boyfriend had to do it), she suddenly said the baby was 2 centimeters smaller. Then she looked again and said it was twice as big as it was a week ago.
This is all very unpleasant and confusing. I'm afraid they're making bigger mistakes. I really don't want to give birth in Tiel and would prefer a different midwife.
Sorry for the long story, but I hope someone can give me advice.
Thanks in advance.
Greetings, mom Jolene
