Pregnant or.....

I just don't know anymore, is my body messing with me or is there really a chance I'm pregnant....
Started the Clomid course on October 4th, 50 mg for 5 days.
Had the ultrasound on day 12 with 2 follicles, one on the right measuring 11 mm and one on the left measuring 26 mm, got the Pregnyl shot on October 15th. Then waited until October 29th for my period to come.
However, a week after the Pregnyl shot, I lost some brown discharge for a few days. The following week I did have early pregnancy symptoms, nausea from certain smells, gurgling intestines, bloated belly, etc. Then on November 2nd, I had some bleeding once while at the toilet, I was sitting on the toilet and when wiping there was quite a bit of blood on the paper.

I've done several Action tests, both regular and early, even the ones from the discount store, but every test just shows negative.
I still haven't had my period except for that little bit of bleeding.
I still get nauseous from time to time, discharge from my nipples which also look different, larger breasts, sometimes a weird feeling down in my belly.

This isn't my first pregnancy so normally I would just know like with the previous ones......
But never before have I been overdue and had a negative test. I always knew when I was pregnant.

Am I actually pregnant or is my body playing tricks on me

I had something similar. Really nauseous, tummy troubles, period pain, and I only tested about 4 days after my expected period and got a positive result. With my first pregnancy, I had a positive test a few days before my expected period and really felt pregnant (which I don't feel now), so it can definitely vary from one pregnancy to another. I'd wait a bit longer and if the tests stay negative, maybe get a blood test done. Good luck!

    Hi Chymiri,
That's really frustrating with the uncertainty. I assume you're seeing a gynecologist regarding Clomid. I'd suggest calling them up and asking for an extra check-up. They can test your blood and maybe do an internal ultrasound to see what's going on. Especially since thanks to Pregnyl you know exactly when your ovulation was, I'd say give them a call and don't wait around in anxiety.
    Love, Jenny

I took the last test on Tuesday, so well after the expected date, and it was negative too.
I took another one today, at first I didn't see anything, but now there's a very faint line visible. However, it appeared after the 5-minute mark, so I assume it's nothing.
I'll take another test over the weekend, so it'll be 3 weeks after the expected date.

Thanks, Jenny, for your message. It might be really good advice. I'll try to call her tomorrow.

Spoke with the gyn, the assistant had passed on my story to her. According to the gyn, that little bit of bleeding was my MS. I should still take the Clomid for 5 more days, and then go for the ultrasound on Wednesday (day 12). Normally, I should start on day 2 of my MS and take it for 5 days, with the ultrasound on day 12. So starting now (which the assistant said wouldn't be a problem) doesn't seem right to me.

I don't feel good about this at all, so I'll just wait for my next MS and then start the Clomid as it should be.

Also, the symptoms are still ongoing, and since the day before yesterday I've been feeling dizzy. So if the tests are wrong (even though the chance is very small), I'd rather not take the risk of taking the Clomid now.

So, waiting for my MS and a new round.

Oh my, that's so frustrating! I totally get why you're not feeling comfortable with that. Seems late to me too. I take Clomid from day 3 to 7 and only ovulate on day 20. So if you start on day 7, it probably does affect your cycle quite a bit. Weird that they won't let you come in for an ultrasound. It's a small thing for them and much better for you to get some clarity.
Hopefully you'll get more clarity soon. And if you don't trust them, just push a little. With a medical process I've noticed that you really have to stand your ground and clearly say what you want, and not just accept it if it doesn't happen.
    Love!

Yeah, indeed Jenny. I don't get it either that they'd think MS is the cause of her having blood once during a toilet visit...
But anyway, we'll just wait and see.

Are your pregnancy tests still negative? Maybe your MS is correct, but it sounds like very little and short-lived..

The last one I took was last Monday and it was negative.
Yeah, that bleeding also happened after we had sex in the morning, and when I went to the toilet there was something in the pot and on the wipe. The second time I went to the toilet it was brownish and then it was completely gone, so it really doesn't seem like it was MS.
Maybe the Action/Big Bazar tests weren't good for me, but I'm not really daring to go buy and do more tests yet.
Tomorrow I'll be 3 weeks "late".

3 weeks overdue, so you'd think you could test positive for sure. Maybe try a more sensitive test? It's a weird situation you're in.

    Yeah, sounds good to me.
I assume it’s not the case, but my body says something completely different.
