Pregnant?

Hi ladies,
We've been trying to get pregnant since this month. I ovulated on October 25th. Since Monday I've been feeling little twinges in my belly and couldn't resist testing. I'm seeing faint lines... but I really can't believe I might be pregnant. My period is due on Friday. What do you all think?

Yeah? Oh, I find it really a bit scary and exciting..
I actually just want to keep testing every day, my partner says to wait until Friday.
    Pfff, so impatient..

A faint line never just appears out of nowhere, congratulations! But if you had listened to your friend, you probably would have had a clear test right away

    Congratulations!

Haha, the heart is right. I also waited 5 days because I didn't want to compare two lines that look alike and drive myself crazy. After 5 days, bam, clear line and no more uncertainty, well at least haha uncertainty is part of getting pregnant and being pregnant. But I knew I was pregnant

Yes, you're absolutely right... but it's my first time and I really feel different. After the first test, I thought, there must be something wrong with the test. That's why I tested again the next day. Hopefully, I can hold out until Friday. It does make me feel a bit anxious though, waiting around...

Me too, my first one indeed. Those feelings and uncertainties are totally normal. But a line is a line, and the fact that you're feeling different already says a lot. And those twinges and pulling sensations were the first things that made me think, hey, what's going on?

Floydi, I'm going to try to hold myself back now. Hihi....

    Wish me luck!
I just can't imagine that it worked out right away. For years I was afraid it wouldn't work out... and then we're ready and immediately take these tests.

I get it too! I think we all know that. But it seems like they're all already walking a bit, or am I seeing that wrong? That's definitely a perfect sign

    Hey Heart,

Haha, the control line is getting darker and darker.
The test line seems a bit wider.. I have to say that when the test is completely 'dried', I can only really see the differences. So I'll take another look this afternoon when I'm home. It's sweet that you guys replied so quickly. It's really nice to have people who want to take a look. Men tend to give a slightly different reaction haha.

Yep, they're sober: wait a week and test again. I didn't mean the control line actually. But you probably just need a little more hCG..

Yeah, I'm going to try it...
I think I'll test again over the weekend.
    @Hartje I see you're 11 weeks pregnant. Super exciting!

Exciting, I'm curious! Yes, with me, the test line was darker than the control line. Turns out it was a twin pregnancy

    Hey girls,
Probably didn't work out. Took a test today. The line is basically nothing and barely visible. So hcg has decreased even more unfortunately. Hopefully I'll get my period soon and then on to the next round..

    Unfortunately

    So sad for Marjoleine
  17. Hartje #18

That's sad, but on the other hand, maybe something did happen after all? Maybe it gives you courage for the next round? Hugs!

    Hey Heart,
Yes, that's exactly how it feels! I really felt all sorts of things. So I really feel like I was pregnant and that I can get pregnant.
It was a bit too good to be true.. got pregnant on the first try

Glad you're positive, it'll be fine soon!
