Lev or Vik?

We're looking for a short, tough-sounding boy's name that isn't too common. Vik and Lev are currently at the top of our list, but none really stands out... Which ones do you like best? Other names are welcome too.. we're still searching and only have 2 months left. Help!

    I think Lev is nicer than Vik.
