My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a while now, but it hasn't worked out yet. He was away for work for a week, and after he got back, we tried again.

Now I've got some itching down there, and it's very red. Has anyone else experienced this before? I've put some cream on it, but it's not going away.

    Just popping by the doctor sounds like it could be an infection. They can assess that and prescribe the right ointment if needed! I haven't had it myself, but you can search Google for it; Thuisarts is a good, reliable website. Good luck.

    Thanks for the tip, anonymous. But "infection" sounds like an STD! Should I confront my husband? I haven't told him yet. I searched for pictures on Google, but none of them looked like mine.

    No, that's not necessary. A fungal infection is also an infection, not an STI. And you wouldn't know how you got it anyway. It's not a favorite topic..
    But if you're having such symptoms, it doesn't sound pleasant. Can you at least talk to your partner about it? It really doesn't have to be an STI!
