Amaya or Maya

Amaya or Maya.
Doesn't Maya directly bring up associations with Maya the Bee?
Isn't Amaya too exotic?

I think both are beautiful.
Maya is short and cool. I don’t immediately associate it with Maya the Bee.
Amaya: I also find the meaning so lovely: night rain.
So it’s like you either prefer short and cool or indeed something more exotic.
