We're looking for a modern name that fits in with today's names and would also work well in the business world if he turns out to be a boy.

When I think of Remco, I think of my own generation, but not a modern name.
Luco: seems a bit cobbled together.
If I have to choose: then Luco.

Remco. I also think Luco is too fiddly. Luca, on the other hand, is nice! I think Remco is okay. A bit old-fashioned, but oh well.... I do like it. My daughter is named Marie, so that's old-fashioned too.

    Thanks for your replies.
We definitely want to include “co” in the name because my husband is “Ko”, his father is “Co” and my husband’s grandfather is “Cor”. That’s why we’re leaning towards Remco or Luco and want to give a bit of a modern twist to a family tradition.
It’s still tough. Luco is indeed a lot more modern, but I wonder if our child will be completely happy with this name later on. Remco sounds safer. Tough choice...

I think Remco is way too old-fashioned!~
Luco sounds nice and fresh. People get used to a name pretty quickly, I think!

    Then Remco between these two.
But actually, Remco is never a name I would choose.
