    The sound is lovely. I always look up names, and if you Google Freya, the top hits are: goddess, German radar system, association for people with fertility issues, and lingerie brand. The first one is obviously beautiful, but the rest..? On the other hand, people probably won't immediately think of those things when they hear the name, so whether you really need to worry about it is up to you.

    With Freya, I also think of people with fertility issues. It's a nice association, where many people find support. But the question is whether you like that association with your child's name.

    I wouldn't let that stop me at all, as if everyone is going to look up what each name means. I certainly don't. If a name is just nice and sounds good, it's fine. Besides, I don't immediately think of fertility issues either. But you should naturally feel good about it. I think it's a nice name!

    I have to say, it's funny how I'm thinking of the word 'vrijen'. How some people might pronounce it in a slang way. Frij-jah.
