I know you spell it differently, but Lore reminds me of a parrot..

anyone else? We're still debating between Paulien or Lore.... With a Paulien we imagine a big, calm girl, with a Lore more of a fiery one! But we obviously can't know that yet. What we do know is that she's having a pretty intense time in my belly

    What do you think??

I think they're both beautiful too. Maybe a bit too early and contrived, but let's see which of the two names would still fit well with other names you like for maybe another child later on. But I can imagine you're probably not thinking about that right now

Paulien! I personally don't think Lore is a beautiful name. Paulien is a lovely name for both a calm and a tough girl!

Oh, I thought exactly the same as Anoniem, just like Lor(r)e often says..not meant badly though...
I'd also go for Paulien! By the way, I think Paulien fits well with a strong girl too!

I also have to think of Lorre (parrot) when it comes to Lore. For example, is Marilore not an option? On the other hand, if you find Lore beautiful, you should definitely go for it!

I think Lore is a beautiful name. Pronounce it as Loore.

I find Paulien a bit of a heavy name; I see an older lady there, quite elegant. But Lore seems a bit more lively and cheerful

Lore! I think Pauline is a bit old-fashioned.

I think Paulien is really old-fashioned and not really pretty either. I’d go for Lore!! Lots of modern names and you don’t hear those much either.

Paulien!! Sweet and tough at the same time! Definitely fits an active girl.
Our neighbor girl is named Pauline and she's a tough girl with character ????
I think Lore is also nice but a bit more ordinary.

I also think of a parrot or Lorelei when I hear Lore.
So I’d go with Pauline (the French spelling because I find it more elegant).
