Pregnant?
T
Hi ladies,
I have a question for you.
Before my period in early September, I was really nauseous, even threw up once, and my period only lasted 3 days (normally about 5). I also bled much less than usual and had a lot more pain. After that, I took a Clearblue pregnancy test which showed a control line after 5 minutes, but the result was negative.
At the end of September, I suddenly got very sick. I had severe abdominal cramps, felt nauseous, slept almost all day, and lost a lot of weight. After a week, I hadn't improved, so I went to the doctor. He thought I still had Pfeiffer's disease in my body and that a food poisoning had brought it back up. I had blood drawn, and the result came back at 9.3. I also asked him if I could possibly be pregnant, and he said I should wait to see if I got my period, which definitely wouldn't be the case. After my visit, I got pills for the nausea.
That following weekend, in early October, I got my period. It only lasted 2.5 days though. Much less than usual and with a lot of pain.
My nausea and stomach pain continued, so I got a course of steroids, which helped, but since Monday, I've been feeling sick again.
Now I have pain and feel nauseous again. So I made an appointment with the doctor and need to go on Friday.
I do take the pill, but I remember missing one dose.
What do you think? Food poisoning for over 3 weeks? Or pregnant? Or maybe too many hormones from the pill? (I'm on the 50mg one)
Best!
