Thank you so much!! I was also told that it's a dog's name hahaha but I think it's a nice name and fits our daughter Shalisa well.

    I'd pronounce it as Dja-ie-ro.
But you can probably also pronounce and spell it differently.
I think Jairo is more beautiful.

The pronunciation "Ja ie roo" is indeed also nice, but my husband found it a bit less appealing, so I went with the pronunciation "Djajroo" instead ;-) I do think the combination with "Dj" sounds nice.

Well, I don't exactly think it's a dog's name, but everyone has their own opinion, right? As long as you and your partner think it's a beautiful name! Nowadays, you can pronounce the same name in different ways, it's just about what you find beautiful and easy to say

You can definitely pronounce it as djajroo. I just suspect most people won't do that because they'll automatically read it as dja-iro.

Yes, you pronounce Ja-iero like the i has two dots, Jaïro.
    Jairo you pronounce as jai-ro.
And if you think it sounds nicer with the extra letter, then just go for it.
