Forum Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests

Lots of discharge but no positive ovulation test.

How long is your cycle roughly? Because it seems like you're really struggling with it. But some tests don't show up early on; they just suddenly give a clear positive result, as far as I understand. Do you have other symptoms of an approaching ovulation?

I also used ovulation tests for the first time this month, but they were all negative every time.
I test my own discharge and cervix to know when I'm fertile, so I gave up on the ovulation tests and just "examined" myself to see when I was fertile.

If you're a bit fertile, your discharge is white and creamy, and when you're at your most fertile, it's raw white, very stretchy, and your cervix is very high and soft.

I had white, creamy discharge on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and on Sunday and Monday (yesterday) I had stretchy, raw white discharge, which meant I knew Sunday and Monday were my peak days.

Today I tested my discharge again, and it's back to normal—not raw white or stretchy anymore, but a bit white and creamy again, and my cervix is low and hard again, so I'm no longer fertile.

I trust this method more than ovulation tests because you have to do them at the same time every day, preferably twice a day, and you shouldn't drink for a few hours beforehand. Too much hassle for me personally. Hope this helps you! Good luck!
