Cervix very high and hard!?

Hi ladies,
We tried to get pregnant yesterday because my cervix was high, soft, and I had stretchy, raw-white discharge, so it was the perfect time to try!
Today, I checked my cervix again, and it’s still high but feels rock-hard now, and my discharge is back to white and creamy, not stretchy anymore. Does this mean I’m no longer fertile? What does it mean???
We were planning to try again tonight...
