Lots of symptoms, test negative, suddenly brown discharge

Hi everyone,

I've been feeling incredibly nauseous with waves of it for almost two weeks, and last Sunday I suddenly got extremely sore breasts, which lasted until Wednesday. It was so painful I couldn't even wear a bra.

I know that's one of the early pregnancy symptoms, so I looked up some info on the cycle and conception. Many pages mentioned you could get similar symptoms around the second or third week after conception, and working backwards, I had sex on September 18th.

I also had some annoying little twinges in my lower belly, but very different from what it feels like when I'm about to get my period. Actually, I've never really had this many symptoms when I'm due for my period.

I took a test on Wednesday, and it was negative. My cycle is very irregular; I've even had bleeding a week early for two weeks straight, or just a little bit of blood for a day and nothing else.

So I'm pretty confused now. A friend of mine said I should take another test on Saturday because I might have tested too early, but since last night I suddenly started having a bit of brownish discharge, which got a bit heavier this afternoon. Could this be old blood or what?

I don't really have a strong desire for a baby, so it's not like I'm desperately wishing my body was playing tricks on me, but who knows?

Has anyone had similar experiences, or does anyone know what kind of bleeding this could be?

I know you can't see much or know much from behind a screen, but it's nice to let off some steam and hear what you did or something.

Love, Vanna6

Edit: I actually don't have any breast pain anymore, but the nausea and little pains are still there.
I've also been feeling quite different for a few days now. I've never felt like this before, and it's like this kind of feeling that I'm not alone, if you know what I mean.
