Very faint line

Hi,
I'm new here, so hopefully I'm doing this right.
I'm now 3 days overdue and took another test tonight. I also tested a few days before my expected period, but that one clearly showed negative. I tested on my expected period day too, but I think that was negative as well.
Tonight I took another test and I think I see a very faint line. But I'm also a bit afraid I'm just convincing myself.
I definitely want to try again tomorrow morning, but I was just curious. Hopefully you guys can help me!

Thanks!

Yep, you can definitely see a faint line! Congratulations. It will naturally get darker.

I don't think testing first thing tomorrow morning will be very helpful. I'd wait a bit longer, until Friday or Saturday, and then test in the morning as usual. I do think I'm seeing something, very faint, and it should be clearer in 2 days. Good luck!

    Thanks for the quick replies!
I was thinking of trying again tomorrow morning since it’ll be with first-morning urine and hopefully more concentrated. I’ve got plenty of tests lying around, so that’s no problem at all (there was some hassle with shipping, so I got a whole extra batch ).

Yeah, I can see a faint line! Hopefully it gets darker! Are you sure you took the test at the right time?

Yeah, I have a very regular cycle. I track it with an app (WomanLog) and except for maybe 1 or 2 times (since I stopped the pill 2 years ago), I always got my period exactly on the day I was supposed to.

    Exciting! Good luck!

Looks positive.. will test again tomorrow morning, hopefully with a nice positive result. Good luck!

I see that too! Have you taken a new test yet?

2 days ago I tested too, super faint, almost invisible.. today a very clear test!! Maybe test again in 2 days?? So exciting..

This morning I did another test, but this one was also barely visible. I think I see something, but my boyfriend says he sees nothing.
I'll wait a bit more and try again on Saturday, I guess. At least my period still hasn't started.

Yeah, your hCG levels do climb slowly. I think they double every two days. So if you test the day after tomorrow, you should see a clearer line, right. Good luck, but I can really see something on the photo, so it looks promising!

Tested again this morning, but this time with the Kruidvat test because I hear so many good things about it. But the line is still practically invisible. I think I can see something, but my husband just doesn't see it. We did the test together, but we see lines even when the test hasn't been used yet. I'm already 6 days late.

I've had severe itching in my vagina since last Sunday. Called the GP, who said it might be a yeast infection (which I've never had before) and prescribed Gyno Daktarin. Used it for the first time yesterday, and immediately for the last time as well. The stuff made me itch like crazy. I couldn't stand it, so I peed it out and then washed it off under the shower.

Could it be that I'm not getting my period because of that, and that I'm really not positive? I honestly don't understand anything anymore.

This would be my first pregnancy, and I always thought you'd get a thick positive line on the day of your missed period... Well, that's quite disappointing...

Maybe this photo is clearer (at least it's not sideways):

On the bottom one I can see something, but not on the top one. In my previous pregnancies, I only had a faint line after my missed period. It gradually got darker. But it could also be that you were pregnant but unfortunately something went wrong. I hope it just gradually gets darker for you. Maybe wait a little longer and test again in a few days. There's nothing more you can do except get a blood test from your GP. Maybe they can give more clarity. Good luck!

It's the same test, just photographed differently .

I'll indeed wait again, I'm already going crazy from it izzy:. Better to have clarity that it's not (or better, yes) like that, than this uncertainty.

Hi! My first pregnancy symptom was itching in the vagina, and Daktarin made it worse. I didn’t know I was pregnant back then. I eventually went to the GP and got something else prescribed—a full course that really helped. I’m now 39 weeks pregnant.

If you're already six days overdue as you say, then something might have happened, hence the faint test lines. It's clear that your hCG isn't building up, so it's a wait-and-see situation until your period. Unless you're not sure when your ovulation was, then it could be that the lines are so faint because you're testing before your expected period.

Yeah, I meant the bottom photo... knew it was the same test haha.

    ^Haha ok :-p.

I'm not 100% sure about my expected period. I'm usually very regular, but I also pretty much always feel my ovulation. Last time, though, I didn't feel it very clearly. I should have ovulated on Monday, September 25th, but felt nothing then. I thought I felt it Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, but not as clearly as I normally do. And the month before, I felt it at all. That could also be because I got back from America on Sunday and it was supposed to be on Monday. With jet lag and the flight, I assumed I'd ovulated sometime in the middle of the night.
Maybe I did ovulate later this time. I also tested negative last Friday, even though with these tests you should be able to test up to 6 days before your expected period (from 2b, the extra early one with 10 * units that I don't know). I'll wait and see. For now, I'll assume it's not happening and that my period will come anyway.
I absolutely don't trust my gut feeling anymore :-p. I had a bit of discomfort in my stomach on Thursday and Friday, just under my ribs, and today it seems to be rumbling down below again. But still no period.

They say patience is a virtue, but I find it damn irritating :-p
