Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
Instinct?
I stopped the pill in July. On July 31st I had light bleeding for 3 days. On August 31st I had my period again for 3 days, so it seemed like a regular cycle!
I used this cycle for the calculations and thought my ovulation would be on the 14th. I also felt little twinges that day.
On the 27th and 28th of September I had light smears of blood. Nothing like my period. Could this have been implantation?
Or were those twinges just my intestines and did I suddenly have a long cycle?
So far no period and a negative pregnancy test.
Based on the previous cycle, I should be 5 days late now.

Hmm, I also had my ovulation on Sept 14 and I'm pregnant. I also had light spotting and brown discharge around my due date.
Maybe your hcg needs to keep rising if you're pregnant? Still best to wait and see, I know how *** that is :/

Congratulations niveamam! When did you test?
After reading around, there are still quite a few options:
- later ovulation, possibly not pregnant
- longer cycle, not pregnant (though I wonder what those blood smears are)
In the meantime, I'm just waiting for a period and will test again in a few days if it doesn't come...
Then a pregnancy should be clear, I think.
If not, then I know I have a very long cycle this time. -

Thank you :-) Well, I started a whole hypertopic about this here—you wouldn't believe how unsure I was (and still am). It's been so nice how the ladies here have carried me through and supported me.
I tested on Sept 26, 2 days before my expected period, which was on the 28th. Very faint lines for 4 days after my expected period. Then a nice thick plus!
Maybe your cycle still needs to kick in and it'll take a little while for your period to start. But all your options are possible! Late implantation... if you don't get your period on Monday, you could have your blood tested for hCG by your GP? -

What's the difference in testing hCG with your GP?
So it's possible that my hCG is still not high enough for a regular test?
I was thinking of waiting another week (if I can manage it! Because I've already tested way too much in the past months).
If nothing changes next time, I'll test again. -

If you get your blood tested and it's above 5 hCG, you're pregnant. A home test can't detect that; it should measure from around 25 hCG, I think (on average).
Yeah, I know, too many tests :-) My god, how much money I've spent on them! What a market, those tests

Hmm, that makes a blood test really tempting!
Today I’m a week late. I kind of want to test again, but it’s also a shame if it’s negative. My boyfriend is going crazy with all these tests haha. -

How about getting a test from the Action? 2 for less than €2.50, so it's not much money wasted if it turns out negative -

Yesterday I did an Action test again, negative once more.
I'll focus on other things next week and see if my period starts. I'm still not sure whether I'll test again at the end of the week or get a blood test. -

For the past few days, I've been feeling a different sensation (pressure) in my lower abdomen/groin. When I Google this, I see some matches, but I have no idea if it's really like that.
Still no period or positive test.
So I went ahead and got a blood test done today, I'm curious! -
