Hi! I'm brainstorming for my best friend (yes, we share everything, hehe ) She's having a little girl in February, and her oldest daughter is named Mila.
She's still deciding between these 4 girl names.

Oh yeah, and Novi likes them too, I just heard.

I think Nova fits best with Mila. I also like Juna and Luna with it. Is that still something?

I think Nika is really nice! I don't think Nova is bad either. And I agree with Roos, I think Juna and Luna are beautiful too!

Thanks for the options! How do you pronounce Juna? Joena or Juuna? She likes both names but unfortunately already knows a Luna, so that's out.

    I'll pronounce Juna as Juuna.

Since she already has a Mila, I'd go with Novi - such a lovely name! Otherwise, there would be two 'a's at the end.

    But I do like Juna.

Oh yeah, sounds like Oh ja.
Know someone who's called Owi. Option?

Hihi, I think she meant 'owja' as a word, not a name. Or am I wrong?
I'd pronounce it as Luuna and Juuna myself (though it could also be pronounced as Loena and Joena).

Haha sorry that was probably not a good Dutch word either but oh yeah I meant it as oh yeah and not as a name Juna pronounced as Juuna has been added to her list!! She actually liked Liva the most (Mila and Liva) but Liva got the fewest votes here haha!!! And we happened to hear recently that there are already 2 sisters Mila and Liva living a bit further away (they don't know those people personally) so that's why there were doubts!

Funny, I also know a Mila and Liva who are sisters
I really like Liva, but I can imagine that many people find the sounds too similar.

Oh wow, that's such a coincidence!! Maybe they're the same sisters? We live near Arnhem.
I think it's really nice too, but I've already told her that it's starting to feel a bit like "Jut en Jul" (a Dutch idiom for something being too much of a good thing).
I think she really likes it herself, but the only thing holding her back is that there are already sisters living nearby, and she wants something unique...
Thanks everyone!! She now has plenty of choices

I think Liva is the cutest.
