Doubts about partner

Hi everyone,
I'm pregnant for the first time and I've noticed that I'm suddenly doubting my partner intensely. Like, is he really the one for me?
We haven't been together long, everything moved pretty fast. We just started living together too.
He already has 2 kids from a previous relationship and he's a super dad to them, I know he'll be for this baby too. But still, I'm so struck by doubt. Does anyone relate to this?

Sometimes I think it's purely about having a baby, in other words; that baby is now in my belly and I can manage the rest on my own.
While I was so crazy about him and really didn't want to lose him. Maybe it's the hormones too, but I don't know, because yeah, first pregnancy.

Also, I have absolutely no desire to have him around me. He's already been sleeping in the living room for a few nights and I love it! While I'm usually quite affectionate. I get annoyed by everything even though he serves me on a plate. Yesterday for example, he was frying and asked if I wanted something, I couldn't even think about it at that moment. But half an hour later, you guessed it; intense craving for a croquette sandwich. Which he then brings to bed for me.

I've been in a foul mood for days anyway. I also have a cold so it's really tough misery. By the way, I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and found out last week. The funny thing is that since I know, I've also had huge trouble with my bowels and nausea. No idea if that's coincidence or if it's in my head.

Anyway, I really feel like a gigantic witch.

Oh wow, girl, it could all be related to your hormones... You're absolutely allowed to feel this way, and you're totally okay with having those questions. It's a level up! You're becoming a mom A whole different life! Congratulations!
Do you talk openly about it with your partner? Does he know how you're feeling?

I haven't talked about it openly with my boyfriend yet. Although he has made it clear that he feels I'm pulling away. I told him clearly that I don't know why either, that I just have absolutely no physical desire to be touched and need so much space.

It'll happen soon enough. I notice there's a lot to talk about anyway. I've been functioning poorly for a week now, but the dishes aren't getting done either... same with the laundry. Normally I don't mind doing most of the housework, but it does worry me that it never occurs to him to pick up the slack when I'm not up to it. Then I wonder, what if the baby arrives? I might have even less energy for these kinds of tasks then... and isn't one of the advantages of having a partner that you can count on them to pick up some of the load?

Yeah, I think your insights are really quite 'normal'. But you know, everyone is allowed to have their flaws, including your partner. But, I would definitely talk to him if I were you because (from my own experience) those irritations can build up quite a bit and stress isn't good, especially not during your pregnancy. You'll indeed need a lot more support once your little one is here, and you need to recover too.

Really, these feelings are so common. Communication is key!
But spoil yourself too, okay? You're allowed to take it easy and you'll get lots of emotions now and then.. spoil yourself

It's a bit better already.. I think my partner can show a bit more understanding now.
I feel so awful, I've been lying in bed for a week. I'm super nauseous and tired. I think it's really hard for a man to imagine how this feels. Maybe his ex also had this during her pregnancies, so I seem like a drama queen pretty quickly.

I keep hoping it's more about the flu I already had when I found out I was pregnant last week, rather than the pregnancy itself.
